What is a Codling Moth Trap?
Codling Moth Traps are an easy to use pheromone traps to help control maggot damage in your apples and pears.
The unique design and shape of these traps mean they are safe for birds and wildlife.
What would I use the Codling moth trap for?
The major cause of maggot damage in apples and pears is the caterpillars of the Codling Moth. This trap uses the Pheromone scent of the female moth to attract and catch the male moths, stopping them from breeding.
Is the trap reusable?
Yes, the trap contains everything you need for a year and the refill allows you to use the trap for another year.
How many traps will I need?
One Trap will cover up to 5 average size trees with a range of 15 metres (50 feet) of the trap. It should be hung at around head height on the windward side of the tree (or group of trees).
When ordering just nematodes, delivery is free of charge.
For all other items, we will either charge £4.98 for standard items, £6.99 for large items and £14.99 for oversized items.
The correct delivery charge will be applied in the checkout.
