What are Flexible Half Hoops?

Flexible half hoops are used in your garden to create a structure to protect your plants. Connecting 2 rods together to make a full hoop in your garden to create a tunnel or other structure, you can cover it with netting in the summer and fleece in the winter.

What is the size of the black PVC rods?

The black PVC rods are all 900mm (2ft 11in) long and 10mm in diameter.

How do I create tunnels and other structures with these rods?

You can create tunnels with crossbars and other plant support structures by joining at least two of the rods together using hoop connectors. Unlike green hoops, these rods do not come with anchors as they have multiple uses and anchors may not be necessary.
In the main image, five rods, four anchors, and two T connectors were used to create the structure.

What are the dimensions of the finished hoop if two rods are connected together?

If two rods are connected together, the finished hoop will stand approximately 600mm (2ft) high and 1.2m (4ft) wide. However, please note that this is just an example as the rods are flexible.

How can I calculate the amount of netting required for my tunnel?

You can use the netting/fleece calculator provided by the manufacturer by entering the height and length of your tunnel.

Are they available in different sizes and easy to assemble?

What are the setup and spacing requirements for green flexible hoops?

Set them up to 1.2m wide and about 600mm high, spaced 750mm to 1m apart. A minimum fabric width of 1.8m is needed for tunnels or cloches.
